Global Cache Device

Hello
As I move forward with Home Remote Designer I have more and more questions
Now I’m stuck on my optoma projector.
It is connected to my network with the address 192.168.0.100 but when I want to create a global cache device with this address I get an error message like:
No connection could be established because the target computer expressly refused it

How is the projector linked to Global Cache? Is it IR or serial?

If it’s a serial connection you need to be using a plugin. The built-in Global Cache integration is only for relays, sensors, & IR devices. All serial devices need to use a plugin.

Hey I recently inherited a Optoma Themescene HD86 projector which I wanted to control via Home Remote. It’s a few years old and doesn’t have a network port, but rather than opt for IR control I used an IP to RS232 adapter so I could address its serial port over the network. What model of Global Cache is it? Is it an iTach, Flex, etc?
