Hi, I’m sure there is probably an easy way of doing this. But I can’t find a way to achieve this. For a few items I am able to get the total track or video time and the current time elapsed, what i would like to display is a remaining time counter e.g. tack time - elapsed time.

However I can’t find anyway of doing this, am I missing something obvious?

Elapsed/track time typically isn’t something that a user will program themselves in the HRP. The Home Remote handles this automatically for devices that support the MediaPlaybackTime capability.

You should not manually add the MediaPlaybackTime capability to device objects. The Home Remote will automatically add the capability if the device supports it.

Elapsed Time Slider

I am looking at putting in some elapsed time / total time sliders for various devices - this includes Kodi, but also some other media players. I conceptually understand how to do this, but I am trying to figure out a way to implement it in such a way that does not require polling every second. I do understand I can poll every 5 seconds, but I do not prefer seeing the time jump every 5 seconds, and that causes other issues if I need quicker polling for other commands.
