Broadlink disconnecting

Hello,

I have multiple Boadlink devices.
I used all of them normally with no issues on 2 different homes.

I moved to a new home with captive portal internet.
So I got the Beryl Glinet router and set everything right. All devices are connecting freely to this router without the need to access the captive portal: TV, Printer, phone…

When I am getting to smart home devices, things are not working.

For broadlink:
The smart plug doesn’t even connect.
The RM mini connects BUT it continues to always disconnect and reconnect again.

There is also smartlife plug not connecting
And the eufy robovac not connecting: for this one, the router shows that it is connected but the eufy application says it can’t connect

I tried different things with no success: be next to the router, disable 5G on my router, reserve an IP address for the device.
I am connecting through American server on broadlink, same as in the other homes and I live in Saudi Arabia. Tried the Chinese server but couldn’t connect.

Any suggestions?
Thank you

Check to see what Wifi protocols are active on your 2.4ghz band (or whatever the equivalent is in Saudi Arabia). Smart Home devices tend to use the older, simpler ones (i.e. “B” protocol).

Try also to change the channel in the 2,4ghz band. Use one in the middle.

Thank you for the help.
I tried on fact the different combinations in the router for the 2.4 but none worked

Thank you for the suggestion.
There are 4 different modes on my router.
Tried all of them with no success

Sounds for me there is any security setting in the router. Can you check this?
Port forwarding or DMZ settings or similar.
Last option- try a other router.

On my router, I set the “bandwidth” to “20 Mhz” on the 2.4ghz band. What is your setting?

The protocol I am referring to is officially called “802.11b”. My security setting is “WPA2 - Personal”,

You can find more information at: IEEE 802.11b-1999 - Wikipedia

When switching this stuff, a reboot of the router and the device itself may be necessary.

In fact I am not using VPN and not using any encryption and not using DNS
So I think there is no security issues.

I have the old router that couldn’t even connect to the captive portal.
I tried the TP link extender but no luck also.

I was told that it may be an issue of changing IP address. So I tried to reserve an IP address but didn’t work neither

Thank you very much.
Yes indeed, I am using 2.4 GHz , 20 MHz and using 11 b/g/n. I can’t only use the B on this router
And using the WAP2 SPK
