I updated the designer to the latest version available, and now every time i click “play” to see a full design inside the designer, it crashes.
Please advise how to troubleshoot this.

Note : when you remove the app choose to keep your settings otherwise you will not be able to open your projects.

Delete any entries of Home Remote in the firewall including advanced section.

Then install .NET Runtime 6 : https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0/runtime
Then run the app again and quickly allow the Firewall prompt
I tried disabling some items and restarting. It eventually asked me to install Edge Runtime. After that, it started working again. Thanks.
