Home Remote Pro - whats the difference

Hi, I’m new to the Home Remote. I have been using Hubitat for about 12 months and wanted a better interface/ dashboard that swmbo can use. I downloaded the iOS app and connected Hubitat, Honeywell connect , Sonos and today my Denon AVR. I have downloaded and have started tinkering with the Designer but that’s a steep learning curve that I will get through  . Had help already from @Martyn_Barnett

The app works fine and allows status viewing and operation of blinds, lights, plug sockets, heating music etc and suits me better than the Hubitat dashboard. Anyway, I have only the default icon/tiles on the app so upgraded to the Pro. However Having read that it can import hrp files made with the designer, I cant see any way of facilitating that. In fact to me I can’t tell the difference between the Pro and the free version. Its not the cost , but could someone explain please what the additional features benefits are and how I make use of them…

My goal is to have a tablet or two permanently mounted to a wall in the house (one upstairs and one downstairs) and then use the app on the phones, a cut down version I imagine, just for added convenience.

Thanks

Hi Steve… if I understand your question correctly, you want to run designer HRP files on a phone? Simples… if your on an iPhone, and if (for example) your HRP file is saved in some cloud storage like Google Drive, then on your phone just go to Google Drive, navigate to your HRP and long press it (or click the dots) and select OPEN IN. Then it will show you a list of Apps to open the HRP with, and you select THR.

What that your question ?

That answers how to run a hrp on the phone , yes, thanks. So are there any other features in the Pro version or is it just the ability to run a hrp file?

The Pro version removes the banner asking you to upgrade to the pro version. Other than that, it also supports the development of a fantastic product.

Thank you. I just wondered. And the cost is fine.
