IPhone app stopped working after upgrade

I’m having a weird (to me) problem with the Home Remote app on one iPhone. I recently upgraded the app and after I did. the upgraded app stopped working on my iPhone. I still worked on my SO’s iPhone (different version) and started working on an Samsung tablet. I reloaded the .HRP file, but that didn’t help.
I use the app to control three audio systems in the house using one Global Cache iTach IP2IR module. Whenever I send a command to the system from my iPhone, it times out. I know I can connect to the iTach module from my iPhone, I can put the IP address in a browser and access the module.

The phone is an iPhone SE running iOS 26.2. I using Home Remote 4.5.0.

Any ideas?

Have you put the IP adress directly in HomeRemote app, that is located on you iPhone. Just to be sure? Then You are 100% sure it,s not the IP.

When I go into Settings on the app, the iTach modules shows the correct IP address.

Can you start a new project in the iPhone app? How are you transferring from the designer to the app? I use one drive, then open in another app.

I’ve had a few goofy things like that. I started a new project. Backed up from the app, then took that backup and rebuilt in the designer. Then reload in the app.

I used Dropbox to load the .hrp file to my iPhone.

Try starting a new project in the iPhone. Then backup to Dropbox. Open it up in the designer, make changes, then reverse order.
