Is WiiM a future Sonos replacement?

Greetings folks.

Due to the problems Sonos continues to have with their problematic app rebuild, many people have started looking for an alternative, myself included.

I’m about to start testing some WiiM gear.

Is anyone out there using it yet? I know it’s kind of new but looks promising.

Just curious.

I use. Wiim mini for my multi room audio… I can stream and control tidal that way via the app.

Is anyone using these wiim streamers with wireless speakers? If so what has the experience been like? Connectivity, sound quality, etc.The wiim ultra looks interesting.

Hi John,

I obviously only use a mini and it’s wired to a multi room device but the WiFi connection (mini to router) has been great even when the signal reports low.
