Kasa Smart Switch and Local control

Hi Bill,
Kasa switch has a local control function when the internet is down like Sonoff switch.
it works ok with its own app. but it doesn’t seem to work with THR locally.
Did I misconfigured it in THR?
or Kasa local control is not implemented in THR yet?

Kasa local control hasn’t been implemented yet. The Home Remote only provides cloud access to Kasa devices.

There is not. I’m not even sure they have a local API for 3rd party access. See here:

BTW, HomeAssistant works only using the local IP address for each device. I have tested it with internet turned off and they do work. Due to this, I have added all my Kasa plugs and switches to my HomeAssistant server and add them to my THR remote that way.

Now if I could only get Scenes and/or timers working they would be absolutely perfect.
