Does anyone by chance know if I can use both a Caseta and RA2 hub simultaneously using the Caseta/RA2 integration? I’ve currently have both working using the integration for the Caseta, and Telnet for the RA2. Being the Caseta was set up first, the integration is using the IP for that hub, and didn’t find any RA2 devices (hence using the Telnet. Can both hubs use the same Caseta/RA2 integration (in essence, 2 Lutron device setups), or am I better off just keeping them separate (With the Caseta/RA2 device for one, and Telnet for the other)?
You should be able to. I don’t know any reason why you couldn’t.
I’m not sure if they both can share the same instance. It is IP address based so you are only talking to 1 hub. The Caseta / RA2 integration is super easy to use. It will automatically create your device objects when you link the hub. You should be able to find out in about a minute or 2.
Thanks Bill. I’ll try deleting and reinstalling.
Yes. Delete & reinstall then add Caseta directly to the app. If all of your devices do not appear, then you probably need to add a 2nd Caseta instance.
Silly me. I was afraid to lose what I had done, not thinking if I save it, I can revert back and not lose anything.
Just tried it, and it just picked up the Caseta hub, and not the RA2.
How would I add the second Caseta/RA2 instance? Each way I tried to do that didn’t work, hence using Telnet. I dp have all my Caseta and RA2 working this way, just not sure it’s the best way to do it.
What do you mean it doesn’t work? What happens when you click Caseta on the add device page?
Just to be clear, the Caseta integration works with the “RA2 Select”. Do you own the RA2 Select Main Repeater “RR-SEL-REP2-BL”?

It just added the devices on the Caseta hub, and not the devices on the RA2 hub.
Ahhhh, that might be it. I’ve got the RR-MAIL-REP-WH for my main repeater.
Yeah, RA2 Select & Radio RA2 are not the same thing. You’re not the 1st to confuse the two. You’ll need to continue using Telnet.
RR-MAIN-REP-WH
Darn typos
Thanks again Bill! The Telnet works just fine, so all good. Just added the RA2, so I’m playing around integrating, and assigning buttons on the keypads (with the Lutron software) as well.
Your input is always greatly appreciated.
