Long time HR user, great app. I currently have 2 different HRP projects on my android phone, one for my HOUSE and the other for a REMOTE location. To switch from one HRP to the other, I must go to file explorer->downloads and then click on the HRP file I want to run. Was trying to figure out how to create a “shortcut” via android and place it on the phone home screen (similar to how you would do it in Windows) but can’t figure that out. Then I read up on creating “shortcuts” in HR. I can load one of the HRP’s, go to “settings” and create the shortcut, then exit HR app. When I “long click” the HR icon on the phone, I see the new shortcut I just created. But then when I open the other HRP and create its shortcut and exit, when I long press the HR icon, the only shortcut that shows is for the last shortcut I made, the first shortcut no longer shows. How do I get BOTH shortcuts to appear when I long press the HR icon?
First, I would like to follow this post because I have always wanted the ability to run two different versions of my HRP. One simple for wife and guests, and one full version for myself.
I can’t help with your specific question, but I do recall a post in the past where someone successfully was able to have their HRP decide whether they were local or remote:
Hi,
It was me testing remote and local, I had a simple ip check and if the first 2 digits were my home ip I set a variable to show my cctv cameras from the local ip and if not it was a port forward address.
I have not done what you are describing and not using THR much these days but what about having a login page where you enter a value “User” or “Admin” for example (or hubby/wife for that matter) and set this to a variable that determines which pages are available. You could simply have a starting page that appears after the user is entered and from there limit what you can reach page wise.

@john_wallace that is absolutely brilliant! I love that idea, thank you so much I’m going to start designing that for my next project.
