I’m looking at getting some LED Strip lights for the soffit of my theater, and I want to make sure I find some that can be controlled using The Home Remote.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or knowledge about which lights may work?
I will be using Lutron Caseta dimmers for my other lighting in the theater.
Philips hue works great.
I would suggest the Philips hue as well.
If you have a smarthub (ie:smartthings/hubitat/Home Assistant), that would open up the possibilities.
If you can do Z-Wave, the Fibraro controller works well (also with Home Assistant). The nice thing is that you can wire up any RGBW led strips and just need to size the power supply according to the number of LEDs you’ll be driving.
This is what I did for my under seat lighting, where the strips are in aluminum channels with diffusers.

I use Govee strip lights and have already put a plugin in the plugin section. They are cheap and easy to use… someone replied to me and send me a link for even cheaper unbranded that use the same api but not sur eif these work.
