I have a Pioneer AVR, Global Cache Ir and after watching a few tutorials it looked possible.
I tried to import the code set, but it seems like that function is not available? Seems that I am working with newer releases of the software and watching older videos.
Any work around for this?
I suggest watching Brians video as this applies to the current HR version.
The Designer now has built in access to the Global Cache IR database. The process of adding devices is much easier. You don’t need to use the Import button anymore. All you need to do is right-click & select “Add Device”.

Ended up using Logitech to control the Pioneer. Strike two for Global Cache.
