Resources.xaml how to update?

I have an old project and try to update the file resources.xaml. I can`t replace it with the new one that has more options as it seems to be protected.
Synchronize templates does not update the file.
Any solutions?

I don’t believe you can copy & paste a new Resources.xaml file in the Designer. This is probably an option that needs to be added. There are other ways for you to update that file though. The HRP is a ZIP file renamed so you can also edit it with any ZIP software like 7-Zip. Open the file with 7-Zip then drag & drop your new Resources.xaml file into it. That’s one to update the file.
