Don’t know if this is an issue, but seems counter-intuitive. If I turn the battery icon sideways and try to move it on the tile with the arrow keys, it only goes right, whereas if it is vertical, default, arrow keys move it up, down, left, right as it should.
There are a few quirks with the Rotation property on controls. Instead of dragging to position the icon, use the Properties pane to assign its location. This isn’t likely going to be the only issue encounter with a custom Rotation. Sizing is also very important when using that option. You’ll need to test on your actual device too because what you see in the simulator may not match.
