Is there a way to update my tablets without connecting them to my computer VIA USB
Yes. Are you familiar with an FTP server? The Designer has an option to “publish to ftp server”. You can setup an FTP on a NAS or, if you don’t have a NAS, you can setup an FTP server on newer versions of windows.
Creating an FTP sever on a windows is easy. Just google it for the version of Windows you have. Here is an example if you are running Win10
In short, the FTP server is creating a folder thats accessible from your network.
Once you have setup and tested your FTP, in THR Designer, go to File > Publish > FTP Server. In the FTP setting box that pops up, Put the URL for the ftp folder as well as your credentials. Save your project. One more time, transfer this project to your tablets via USB.
That’s it for setup. Going forward, when you make changes to your project, if you click “Quick Publish” (small icon top left of Designer) it will save your changes to the .hrp file in your FTP folder.
When you start the THR app on your tablet, it automatically looks at the FTP folder for a newer version .hrp. If a new version is there it downloads it and uses it automatically. Making changes is as simple as opening Designer, make your change, Quick publish, restart the app.
That’s what I would recommend! Its worth the effort.
Another method would be to save your project to something like google drive and open it from there.
Thank you.I will give it a try
You can also do it if you have any sort of cloud storage like Google drive or Microsoft OneDrive. If you’re on Android, swipe from left and hit “restore”, then hit the hamburger menu button on top left. Then you should see your cloud storage apps where you can pick your hrp file.
If you’re on iOS, open the cloud storage app and when you click on the hrp file, it will bring up a menu asking you what to do and you select “share to” and then pick THR.
