Vera device 'Day or Night' not visible in HR designer?

My Vera system runs an app called ‘day or night’. This app has created a device that indicates the status ‘day’ / ‘night’. I want to show this status in HR, but this device is not available between all other Vera devices in the designer. How can I use this device or status in HR? Thanks!

You need to manually create the object in Home Remote. Easiest way to do that is to copy & paste an existing one then update it. Here are some discussions that will show you how to do this.

Add “light” to the Attributes on the object. Copy & paste the existing “HumiditySensorTile.xaml” file & rename it to “CustomWeatherTile1.xaml” Open “CustomWeatherTile1.xaml”. Change the Text binding for the Label in the bottom left corner to @Device.light. Assign “CustomWeatherTile1.xaml” to the TileTemplate property on the device object. Vera Generic IO sensors not supported?

Anything that is in the sdata can be monitored. Open the URL below in your web browser & find the device in the JSON. Any of those device JSON fields can be monitored by adding it to the Attributes in the Designer’s Device Properties.
