Life 360 Location Data

I am new to Home Remote, but so far love the control it gives.
I have recently tried to add my Life 360 location data that is connected through my Hubitat hub, but I can’t seem to get any sensible data out of it.

I have noctied that within the designer the Life360 device is being detected as a ThermostatSwitch !
Is there any way to change this and get it detected as a tracking device ?

You can change the templates that were assigned to the device. You can even create new ones if there isn’t a template that you’d rather use. By default, I believe the app will assign ThermostatSwitch when a device has Switch & TemperatureMeasurement capabilities. Again, you can change that though. The Designer gives you that option. The apps alone do not.

I can see that I can change the templates, but what about adding the capabilities ?
Do I just type them into the Capabilities box of the device in the designer ?
Or am I going about this the wrong way ?

You can’t add capabilities. The Home Remote reads them from Hubitat. It will add all that are supported. You can however add attributes.

Custom Attributes

Hi All, I originally posted this on the hubitat community forum, but posting here to hopefully get some pointers. The problem relates to the integration of hubitat devices with custom attributes. I have some sensor devices built around a virtual multi-sensor that have a range of custom attributes pertaining to air quality. What I’m trying to do is bring these attributes in to a tile. Properties like DeviceType, DisplayName, Icon, TileTemplate, DetailsTemplate are optional. They are only needed if you plan on including this device in a Tile layout with the DeviceBrowser. The only properties you need to worry about are the Id, Capabilities, & Attributes. Supported Home Remote Capabilities will be automatically assigned.
